EPK BIO

Crucible Of Absolution is a Deathcore/Hardcore band based out of Eugene, Oregon. Crucible formed and began writing music in 2023, and began playing live shows in mid 2025. The band released their first single ”Kingdom of bone” paired with a music video by Austin Scherzberg, and quickly began getting attention both locally and nationally.  After releasing another single “Out of the mud, into the morgue” with another music video and getting over 100 thousand streams on youtube, the band released their first EP “Closed Casket Protocol”.

The band has since been playing shows, festivals, and touring to support the EP release. Crucible headlined Oregon metal festivals such as Winterfest, and Oregon Deathfest in 2026.  They also toured with Oregon bands such as Earth Eater, and Oddities. The bands intense live shows and stage presence has garnered a healthy following regionally, and the band plans to expand even further in 2027.
